Since 2013, Narenj Tree has been committed to providing emergency humanitarian assistance to refugees and displaced persons in need, in now, more than 20 countries.

It all happened by chance.

In November 2013, a group of family and friends, set out for a donation drive to collect gently used clothing, shoes, and linens to support displaced refugee families, during the cold winter ahead.

What started out as a clothing drive turned in to a container full of donations, in less than two months. The collected donations, later helped support thousands of displaced Syrian refugee families and children, that winter.

With one goal in mind – to help people in need, Narenj Tree Foundation was established. And, with the help of many wonderful people who believed in the cause, the foundation grew, and further extended their aid.

Through collaborative efforts the focus on containers of support has grown into several other initiatives to make an impact where possible.

Today, Narenj Tree foundation is not only able to focus on Emergency Aid; the foundation continues to grow its initiatives with Fundraiser such as Building Livelyhood, Community Sponsorship, Orphan Sponsorship, Clean Water Wells, Homelessness, Resettled Refugees and Asylees and more!

Homelessness rates are rising fast due to the effects of conflict, natural disasters, and soaring food prices.

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees estimated as many as 5.3 million people in Syria may have been left homeless following the February, 6, 2023 Earthquakes.

In Pennsylvania alone, the homeless population reached 13,375 with 1,772 persons experiencing chronic homelessness.

Thousands of families are in desperate need of help– and we need your support to help them.

Start by taking action in advocating for this cause.

We encourage all to take action today, start by spreading awareness, sharing our cause, vocalize your sincere thoughts about the importance of providing solutions to the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

Other ways to get involved is hosting a fundraiser, whether on Facebook, GoFundMe, through a bake sale, clothing donations and other concepts.

We encourage and welcome volunteers all year around, whether in person or remotely.
